About this role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the statutory and financial reporting compliance for the business. This position offers a balance between traditional financial responsibilities and working with the Financial Controller with a focus on continuous improvement to develop new systems and processes for a fast-growing business.

Main Responsibilities
This job role will evolve with the rapid growth of the business, making this the perfect time to join and grow alongside the company. Main responsibilities will include:
- Support with the timely and accurate preparation and review of the monthly reporting
- Provide accurate balance sheet reviews with explanation around key variances month to month
- Take on transformational projects sponsored by the CEO and CFO and work with them directly on the process.
- Prepare and review the monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- 13 week rolling cash flow forecasting, and communication of the weekly cash flow forecast to the CFO and Commercial Director
- Liaise with the tax advisors to review and support timely filing of annual tax returns
- Support the Financial Controller with the year-end audit process and other statutory/regulatory requirements
- Working closely with the Financial Controller developing and documenting scalable finance processes and controls, driving efficiencies within the Finance team and reducing reporting timelines
- Support the Financial Controller with the implementation of a new ERP/Finance system within the next 12 months
- Working with the Financial Controller to help drive efficiencies in spend across the Group entities
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Experience Required
The following experience is required:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- Up to date knowledge of technical accounting including FRS102
- Proactive self-starter
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and proven team management capability.
- IT literate with strong ability using Microsoft Excel.
