Record breaking Full Fibre install for Grain customer!

We are feeling pretty proud here at Grain – knowing we can install our customers in record speeds of just 36 minutes!

Thanks to owning and managing our own independent Full Fibre broadband network, we are able to sign up and install customers quickly. But even for us, this latest record is lightning fast!

Thirty-six minutes was all it took for one of our customers to have an active service in their home when they signed up on Tuesday – and that included a full install from one of our expert engineers!

Our Middlesbrough-based customer Motunrayo Oyeleye called us at 9.58am to place an order for a Full Fibre broadband service, and by 10.34am our engineer Salman (pictured) arrived at the property and had completed the installation and the customer was connected to the internet just 36 minutes later! It’s not just the broadband speeds that are fast with Grain!

To put this achievement into context, Openreach reported they managed to install 95% of customers within eight working days – more than 400 times longer than it took Grain!

And for this particular customer, the speed was vital, as they had just moved into their new property and had no broadband connection in place.
