Warrington to benefit from broadband investment!
Residents in Warrington are set to benefit from our Full Fibre network investment roll out, allowing them to experience some of the fastest broadband speeds available.
We have plans to roll out the Full Fibre network to more than 10,000 homes across Warrington, and the community will be able to reach speeds up to 900Mb, on Grain’s own fibre-optic network, with a dedicated fibre cable direct to each home or business.
This technology means the service is much faster than traditional copper networks which only take fibre to the cabinet, relying on customers sharing speeds with their neighbours. By installing a new and dedicated network, residents are being offered a wider choice than just the traditional Openreach network.
Currently, residents in Warrington pay an average of £34.25 for their broadband with other providers, and the average internet speed in the city is 99.63Mb.
Warrington is one of the key expansion areas to benefit from our roll out, with work to install the network having started in July. Other nearby locations where we are already connecting homes include Manchester, Liverpool and St Helens.
Residents in Warrington can currently sign up to a 100Mb package in August for as little as £19.99 per month, plus three months at just £1 per month. We pledge to never increase a customer’s price during their contract term, going against the standard practice of many competitors who increase prices annually in line with inflation.
Other benefits include a free router, free installation, no line rental costs, no post and packaging costs, and no set up or admin fees.
Tracy Karam, Head of Sales and Marketing at Grain said: “We pride ourselves on great pricing, fair contract terms and a reliable service and we are pleased to be offering our service to residents in Warrington.
“We never increase our prices mid-contract and ensure fair and competitive pricing when the time comes to renew your contract. This is especially important to us now, with customers being impacted by the rising cost of living.”
